Magic Mist Carpet Cleaning began in the mining town of Moura, which is located approximately 2 hours from Rockhampton. At the time, it was solely operated by John Hill. John quickly realised that many people in town were seeking a reliable, friendly and trustworthy carpet cleaning service. As the business started growing, John began training his son, David, in all aspects of the business and the carpet cleaning/restoration industry. 

David absorbed the knowledge from his father quickly and, in no time, he was managing the business together with John. These days, Magic Mist Carpet Cleaning is based in Rockhampton with David operating it.
